Today's consumer is among the most educated and experieneced in all of human history. They expect the best. Not everyone needs to pinch pennies, and going after that market segment might just only yield pennies as well.
If you are serious about managing a stock price as high and mighty as Apple, Microsoft or Amazon, you have to be able to capture MORE THAN WHAT IS ALREADY BEING CAPTURED.
How do you capture more in regards to product design? Give more.
It takes a servant's heart to crack the code of being able to give people what they want. And if your product design team isn't amped up about their products, then why should your customers be amped up as well?
This is why creativity is essential. People like new, bigger, better.
They don't want cheaply made, old, worn out ideas.
And taking over a new market and aiming to disrupt can be risky. But it can also be pivotal and instrumental into giving people what they want.

Sometimes, you can make more not by withholding your wares but by providing your wares.
