There was a career fair at my college (hospitality management). All the big hospitality companies were there, and I had printed out a portfolio for them.
Too bad I was in hospitality school doing industrial design, lol. Gotta make it work.
But to prepare for the career fair, I challenged myself to create as many hotel innovations that I could. I also made a baggage cart, a redesigned room to house a projector screen over the window, etc.
Design is supposed to be fun, you are creating fun new things!
